How Do You Determine If You
Need An Eye Exam?
There's several factors that should be taken into consideration, with some examples being health and age. Children should have their first eye exam between the ages of three and five. This will allow your doctor to test your child's vision early on to help determine if they'll need glasses. Studies have shown that many children develop a lazy eye at an early age, which can be corrected with treatment.
Children above the age of five should have an eye exam before the beginning of every school year. Adults between the age of 20-30 should have their eye sight checked every two to five years. Taking care of your eyes includes a routine eye exam, which can be covered by some medical insurance plans.
